Senior Advisor/STEP Co-Chair Mitch Stein Host Estate and Financial Planning Event
Private Client Service Senior Advisor Mitchell Stein, TEP recently hosted an event entitled “Importance of Trusts in Estate and Financial Planning” as part of the Society of Trusts & Estate Practioners’ [STEP] Long Island event series. As co-chair of STEP’s Long Island chapter, Mitch helps organize and host monthly events for its members and industry professionals. Each monthly event is unique in its topic of discussion and guest speakers.
STEP LI’s latest event was entitled “Importance of Trusts in Estate and Financial Planning” and held on September 22nd at the Hyatt Place Garden City. The event’s special guest was Alaska Trust Company’s Director of Estate Planning Jonathan G. Blattmachr. He spoke on the importance trusts can have on financial planning, how trusts can help protect property from creditor claims and how most aspects of estate planning are efficiently achieved with trusts.
